The University of Michigan strives to ensure that all graduates and guests can participate fully in this program.

On commencement day, staff will be available throughout the Crisler Center to assist anyone with accessibility needs. Accessible restrooms are located near all entrances.

Graduates or guests who have questions about ADA parking, access, or special needs should fill out this form by Monday, December 9 to be contacted with further information.

We encourage guests with mobility concerns to be dropped off at the southwest entrance.

Real-Time Captioning and Sign Language Interpretation

A display screen with real-time captioning will be visible from most seats in Crisler Center.

Sign language interpretation is provided from the stage, and a section of guest seating near the stage is set aside for hearing-disabled guests. To share your need for this service please fill out this form by Monday, December 9.

Accessible or Wheelchair Seating for Graduates & Guests

Graduates and candidates who use a wheelchair or have mobility concerns are asked to please fill out this form by Monday, December 9 to share your accessibility needs. Parking, entrance to the graduate procession, and seating instructions will all be sent to you at a later date.

Limited Mobility

Guests with mobility concerns may utilize the elevators located at the northeast entrance to the arena. The arena staff will assist in locating accessible seating.
