At the University of Michigan, Winter Commencement is a festive, campus-wide event where undergraduates and masters degree recipients process onto the stage, PhD candidates process across the stage, and honorary degrees are conferred.

All graduates who would like to attend the ceremony must redeem a graduate ticket. Online ticketing is now open and remain open through Friday, December 15 at 12:00 p.m. Following December 15, graduate and guest tickets will be available on commencement day at the Crisler Center Box Office. Undergraduates and graduate students (Masters, PhDs) may receive up to six (6) general admission guest tickets. Tickets will be issued via email following the online ticket redemption process. The required graduate ticket does not count towards the six (6) total allotted guest tickets. For questions regarding graduation eligibility, check the commencement eligibility page.
