2020 Comeback Commencement Day Schedule
Saturday, May 7, 2022 | 1:00 p.m.

Undergraduate & Masters Schedule for Commencement Day

  • 11:00 a.m. Arrive at Grad Assembly—east side of Michigan Stadium near Gate 1
  • 11:30 a.m. Graduate procession into stadium
  • 12:30 p.m. Graduate procession ends
      • Graduates arriving after 12:15 p.m. will not be able to enter graduate seating until after the ceremony begins.
  • 1:00 p.m. Ceremony begins
  • 3:00 p.m. Ceremony ends (approximately)

PhD Schedule for Commencement Day

  • 11:00 a.m. Arrive at PhD Assembly—Junge Center
    • PhDs arriving after 12:00 p.m. will not be able to enter graduate seating until after the ceremony begins.
  • 12:00 p.m. Undgergraduate & Masters procession into stadium
  • 12:00 p.m. PhDs line up for procession
  • 12:30 p.m. Undergraduate & Masters procession ends
  • 12:30 p.m. PhD procession begins
  • 1:00 p.m. Ceremony begins
  • 3:00 p.m. Ceremony ends (approximately)

Note to All Undergraduates and Masters:

  • Plan to wear comfortable shoes, as the route is uneven and steep.
  • Do not bring any prohibited items into the stadium.
  • If you are unable to navigate steps, use a wheelchair, or require other accommodations  please notify a U-M staff member to request assistance.
  • To ensure that you receive a proof of your commencement day photo, be sure to fill out a photo address card distributed by staff in the assembly area.
