General Information
- Tickets will be available to redeem from Tuesday, December 3, through Friday, December 6. Students will be notified via email when tickets go live.
- All students participating in Winter Commencement are required to present a graduate ticket to be admitted to the ceremony and participate in the graduate procession.
- Graduate seating for Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates is general admission. PhD candidates will be seated in alphabetical order. Commencement marshals direct graduates to the seats.
- All other guests—including family members and children two years of age and older–must have a guest ticket in order to enter the Crisler Center.
- Bachelor’s degree recipients are eligible to receive up to 6 guest tickets
- Graduate/professional (master’s and doctoral) degree recipients are eligible to receive up to 6 guest tickets.
- Guest tickets are all general admission.
- All tickets are electronic. Graduates must transfer guest tickets to their guests by Friday, December 13th to ensure smooth entry into the Crisler Center.
Graduates or guests in need of accessible accommodations should complete the Winter Commencement 2024 Accessible Ticket Request form no later than Monday, December 9, 2024. This form is only to request accessible accommodations, NOT for early ticket access. You must still participate in the online ticketing redemption process from December 3 to 6 to redeem your graduation tickets. Note: The form can only be completed by those with a UMich email address. Limit one response per email address.
