Congratulations to you and your graduate!

As a guest at Winter Commencement, you will not need a ticket to attend. Any guest who would like to attend will be accommodated.

On the day of Winter Commencement, the Crisler Center concourse doors will open at 1:15 p.m. Families and guests are asked to enter through the concourse doors, and be seated by 1:50 p.m. (Please note, graduates would go directly to the tunnel entrance for seating on the arena floor. See graduate seating for additional details.)

The graduation ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m., and will end approximately at 4:00 p.m. During the ceremony, doctoral degree recipients are draped with their hood and will then receive their diploma on stage. Their names will be announced as they shake hands with the dean and president.

Graduates receiving master’s or bachelor’s degrees process to the stage and shake hands with the president or provost. (Names of master's and bachelor's recipients are not announced.)

Graduation Foto will take a picture of each graduate as they shake hands.
