Students should redeem both graduate and guest tickets online:
- Monday, April 10, 9:00 a.m. through Friday, April 28, 12:00 p.m.
Through the online ticket distribution process you will be able to have guest seats assigned for your party, and also be sent a graduate ticket. Tickets redeemed online MUST be printed and each person is required to carry their own ticket, including your graduate ticket.
To complete the online process you will need to have your student UMID.
If you are unable to use the online system or if you need wheelchair or limited mobility seating, students can pick up both graduate and guest tickets at the Michigan Union Ticket Office, ground floor, (530 South State Street):
- Beginning Monday, April 10: 11:00 a.m. through Friday, April 28, 12:00 p.m.
- See the Michigan Union Ticket Office website for hours.
Seating assignments are generated randomly whether redeemed in person or online and early arrival will not guarantee preferred seats.
Please note: even if students do not intend to pick up their 6 or 10 allocated guest tickets, they must have a graduate ticket in order to participate in Spring Commencement.
Troubleshooting – Online Tickets
Please call the Michigan Union Ticket Office at (734) 763-8587 if you encounter issues with the online ticket process once it becomes available on April 10th, 2017.
