Commencement Buffet

The Michigan Union, located on central campus, will host the annual Commencement Brunch Celebration on Saturday, May 3, immediately following Spring Commencement.

This buffet-style brunch features a variety of main courses, salads, breakfast items, and desserts. View the menu or make a reservation.

The cost is $32.00 for adults and $17.50 for children under 12, plus tax and gratuity.

Seating is limited, so please reserve early. Reservations canceled a minimum of 72 hours in advance are fully refundable.

Michigan Memories Commencement Reception

Following the Spring Commencement ceremony, graduates and their guests are invited to a reception hosted by University Unions.

This year’s reception will feature a Michigan Memories pictorial display highlighting noteworthy headlines from The Michigan Daily over the past four years.

The reception will be held in the Art Lounge located on the first floor of the Michigan Union. Light refreshments will be served.

Host Your Own Commencement Event on Campus

Consider celebrating your graduation with a reception, lunch, or dinner at your alma mater. On central campus, choose from the historic Michigan Union or the elegant Michigan League. For those celebrating on North Campus, Pierpont Commons offers an inviting venue and an attractive setting. These and other campus locations are served by University Catering Services.

From May 2 – 4, 2014, University Unions will be offering complimentary banquet rooms with a minimum purchase of ten full-service meals.
